The factory-installed Spektrum brushless outrunner motor is compatible with a 4S battery, giving the Gee Bee R-2 1.0m excellent performance. This power system can help the plane reach top speeds upwards of 161 kph (100 MPH) in a dive, offering incredible speed worthy of the original racer.

Composite materials are used to reinforce the lightweight yet durable EPO (Expanded PolyOlefin) airframe for added strength. This durable construction allows the plane to handle high speeds and aggressive aerobatic flying with confidence.

The Gee Bee R-2 1.0m is classified as a Skill Level 2 aircraft, meaning it requires some flying experience. It is suitable for pilots who are already comfortable assembling, setting up, and flying similar class models.

This BNF (Bind-N-Fly) aeroplane is equipped with a receiver loaded with a Smart Transmitter File (STF), making transmitter programming incredibly easy. All programming parameters, including rates, expo, and telemetry, download automatically from the receiver during the binding process.
