The Mercedes-Benz "Berlin 2000" 190E 2.5-16 Evolution II was a Mercedes 190E built for racing. With its aggressive aero package and motorsport-tuned engine, it became an iconic German touring car. This particular version of the 190e came about when the city of Berlin, Germany, sponsored a DTM touring car to promote the city for the 2000 Olympic selection. While it was an unsuccessful bid the Berlin sponsored 190E went on to become a wonderful piece of motoring history.
