Clear injection-moulded lenses feature detailed cuts to provide a realistic light signature. Internal buckets are ready to accept separately sold 97054 LED series units, transforming the appearance into a full-scale replica. Installing optional halogen-style front LEDs and red rear units creates a detailed look that shines during evening driving sessions.

Newly designed concealed body mounts eliminate unsightly external posts and pins. This hidden fixing system allows the lines of the 1969 Mustang body to remain uninterrupted. It creates a cleaner profile, as the body secures firmly from underneath to maintain ultra-scale integrity without sacrificing the convenience of quick shell removal.

A lightweight nylon chassis employs a simple, functional design to lower the centre of gravity. Integrating the gearbox into the main frame optimises torsional rigidity while improving impact resistance during collisions. Eliminating the upper deck reduces weight and simplifies the layout, providing a balanced and predictable driving experience for both beginners and veteran hobbyists.

Servicing the vehicle is straightforward due to a reduced variety of parts and screws. Most components are secured with countersunk head screws that require only a 2.0mm (0.08") hex wrench for removal. This standardised approach speeds up repairs and disassembly, letting you spend less time at the workbench and more time enjoying the track.

Front suspension geometry is tuned to minimise bump steer and scrub radius for precise handling. Simple ball-connected steering hubs ensure reliable movement and responsive control. Interchangeable left and right hub carriers across the front and rear maximise spare parts utilisation, making it much easier to manage an inventory of replacement components.

Two sets of brake disc wheel hubs with dummy callipers are included to provide customisation options. These hubs offer compatibility with 190mm (7.48") and 200mm (7.87") body widths by allowing for different offsets. Apart from the visual styling benefit, these parts ensure the tyres sit perfectly flush with the fenders for a wide, aggressive stance.
