This Mini-Z brings the legendary FC3S RX-7, famous for its unique engine and iconic styling, to life in a fantastic small-scale drift package. The highly detailed body is finished in striking Red and captures the look of a tuned version with its aero kit style and big rear wing, making it look incredible whether it's sliding sideways or on display. It's perfectly suited for fun, controlled drifting action, especially when you're tearing up floors in smaller indoor spaces! As a complete package, it includes everything you need to get started (except batteries!), including a user-friendly 2.4GHz Syncro KT-531P transmitter with a helpful Training Mode for new drivers. Just add batteries, and you're instantly ready for sideways excitement with the included drift tyres!
Underneath that gorgeous Red body is the capable AWD MA-020 chassis, specifically engineered by Kyosho for excellent drift performance. It features a circuit board with updated and optimised steering control to help you master those drift angles, and VCS (variable camber suspension) on the front to improve dynamic handling. The chassis runs smoothly and efficiently thanks to a full set of 14 ball bearings throughout the drivetrain. There's even a dedicated mounting space with adjustment for adding the optional gyro unit (sold separately, model MZW446), which can provide extra stability and assistance, allowing drivers of all skill levels to push their limits. This Mini-Z is a fantastic way to enjoy the legendary style of the FC3S RX-7 and experience the exciting world of RC drifting!

Please note that this Mini-Z is specifically designed for use only with the included Syncro KT-531P transmitter and the special optional gyro unit (sold separately: MZW446). It is not compatible with KT-18, KT-19, EX-5UR ASF, EX-6, or EX-6R transmitters, nor can the ICS feature be used.
The optional LED light unit set (MZW429R) cannot be installed on this specific body.
The package includes a separate light pod set that requires customer modification and attachment to the body.
The second-generation Mazda RX-7, released in 1985, remains incredibly popular, renowned for its unique rotary engine heritage. Known affectionately as the FC, this highly detailed Mini-Z body features a huge rear wing and carbon bonnet detail, highlighting its performance look and capturing the classic sports car style perfectly.
Includes the stylish Syncro KT-531P transmitter for comfortable control. Features steering and throttle trim adjustments, as well as dual rate adjustment of steering angle and control of the flashing speed of optional LEDs. In addition, the transmitter has a Training Mode feature which limits the speed of the car for easy learning (default setting out of the box).
This Kyosho Mini-Z drift car is built on the special AWD Sports chassis. Based on the proven and capable MA-02 chassis design, it features the RA45 unit. This compact, all-wheel-drive platform provides a stable and controllable foundation, perfect for enjoying fun drifting action in smaller spaces.
Features VCS (Variable Camber Suspension) front suspension. This innovative design optimises camber change in concert with the suspension stroke for improved handling and contact patch management during slides. Replacing the front suspension coil springs is easy and requires no tools, simplifying tuning and maintenance.
The Mini-Z drift car is equipped with a reliable strut-type rear suspension. This suspension design provides predictable performance and works in harmony with the front suspension setup. It helps give the chassis the stable handling characteristics essential for executing smooth and controlled drifting manoeuvres in tight spaces.
Features full ball bearing specifications throughout the drivetrain and wheel axles for maximum efficiency. This includes 14 high-quality ball bearings. Ball bearings provide smoother operation, reduce friction and heat, and increase overall efficiency and durability compared to plastic bushings, ensuring longer run times and less wear.
This Mini-Z AWD comes equipped with low-grip drift tyres as standard, so you're ready for sideways action right out of the box! These specialised tyres are designed to allow the car to slide smoothly and predictably on suitable surfaces, making it perfect for practicing and enjoying the exciting fun of drifting straight away.
