The Kyosho MINI-Z MR-04 The Audi R8 LMS brings the fourth generation of high-performance RWD racing to your indoor tracks. This Ready-to-Run (RTR) package is designed for simplicity, requiring only batteries to begin racing right out of the box. It features a faithfully recreated Phoenix Racing livery from the 2010 Nürburgring 24-hour race, finished to a display-model standard.
At the heart of this model is the MR-04 chassis, which offers a lower centre of gravity and improved cornering stability compared to older designs. The steering system has been completely remodelled with new front knuckles that reduce scrub and improve linear control. Power is managed by an integrated Receiver And ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) unit that works with a 130 Sized Brushed Motor for smooth acceleration.
Whether you are a newcomer or an experienced hobbyist, the included Syncro KT-531P transmitter provides precise control with an adjustable training mode for safety. The car is fully equipped with ball bearings as standard to ensure maximum drive efficiency. With its ability to be tuned using various optional parts, this Audi R8 provides a deep and rewarding racing experience for any scale.
New front knuckles with integrated kingpins reduce scrub by 1.5mm on each side compared to the MR-03. This gives you a much sharper and more direct feel in your steering. The switch to 3mm inner diameter ball bearings also means the wheels spin with less friction, giving you smoother and faster control.
The MR-04 is designed for easy customisation. A parts set is included that lets you easily change the front tread to fit different bodies. You can also adjust the rear tread by changing the wheel offset. This gives you the freedom to build a car that is truly unique.
The rear suspension uses a coil spring damper to absorb bumps from the road and give you a much more stable drive. You can also upgrade it to an optional oil-filled shock absorber, which can give you even better performance and more tuning options to suit your driving style and the track con
The rear suspension features a flexible T-bar plate that supports the motor and rear axle. The flexible design gives the car great suspension effects, which helps to keep the tyres firmly on the track. This gives you more traction and a more stable feel in corners.
This car is powered by four AAA batteries, which are mounted lower than in the MR-03. This design choice gives the entire chassis a lower centre of gravity. The result is better stability in corners and a more predictable, planted feel when you're driving at speed.
While keeping all the great parts of the MR-03, the new MR-04 chassis has a lower centre of gravity. This gives you some serious boosts in performance. The MR-04 is also much easier to control, making it the perfect way to get into the exciting world of RC cars without a steep learning curve.
The car's front suspension is all about getting the most out of your tyres. It dynamically changes the camber angle with the movement of the upper arm, which helps to maintain optimal tyre contact during cornering. A revised caster angle also gives you a better steering feel and faster response.
All axles are equipped with low rotational resistance ball bearings as standard. These ball bearings are the same size for both the front and rear axles, which makes it easier to keep spare parts on hand. The low resistance means you get smoother and faster performance from the car.
Fourth-generation MR-04 chassis features a lower centre of gravity for better stability
New front knuckles and integrated kingpins provide sharper steering control.
Phoenix Racing livery replicates the 2010 Nürburgring racer with high-quality paint.
The Syncro KT-531P transmitter includes steering trims and a beginner training mode.
Full ball bearing specifications reduce rotational resistance for better speed
Front suspension dynamically adjusts camber to maintain maximum tyre grip
T-bar rear suspension plate and coil spring damper provide shock absorption
Geared differential ensures smooth power delivery and consistent cornering
Batteries are mounted lower in the chassis to improve straight-line handling.
