This special limited-edition Mini-Z celebrates Kyosho America's 20th anniversary with a detailed Chevrolet Corvette C8.R body. Featuring a brilliant chrome and yellow livery, this officially licensed model captures the look of the 500-horsepower, mid-engine race car, complete with detailed aero parts for an authentic appearance.

The new MR-04 chassis delivers a significant step up in performance. By lowering the centre of gravity, it provides improved cornering stability and better straight-line handling. The chassis is also designed for easier control, making it a great introduction to the world of high-performance RC cars.

Experience sharper and more linear steering control thanks to the newly designed front Hubs. They reduce scrub by 1.5mm on each side compared to the previous MR-03 chassis. The Hubs also house larger 3mm inner diameter ball bearings, which further reduce rotational resistance for a smoother front end.

The front suspension geometry has been designed for maximum grip. It dynamically aligns the camber angle during suspension movement, helping to maintain optimal tyre contact with the track surface through corners. A revised caster angle also provides improved steering response, making the car more precise and predictable.

Powered by four standard AAA batteries, the MR-04 features a low-profile mounting position. This places the batteries lower in the chassis compared to the previous model, contributing to the car's very low centre of gravity. This design directly improves cornering stability and straight-line handling performance.

The rear suspension is equipped with a coil spring shock absorber that effectively cushions shocks from the track surface. This simple yet effective system improves driving stability, especially over bumps and imperfections. For further tuning, the unit can also be upgraded to an optional oil-filled shock absorber.

The rear suspension features a flexible T-bar plate that holds the entire rear motor pod. The flex of this plate acts as a key suspension component, allowing the rear end to move and absorb bumps for excellent traction. Optional T-bars are also available in FRP and carbon for tuning.

For maximum efficiency and performance, all axles are equipped with low rotational resistance ball bearings as standard. This reduces friction in the drivetrain, leading to higher top speeds and longer run times. The front and rear use the same size bearings, simplifying maintenance and spare parts management.

The MR-04 is designed for customisation. When changing to a different body, an included parts set allows you to change the front tread (vehicle width) to get the perfect fit. The rear tread can also be easily changed by using wheels with different offsets, giving you plenty of tuning options.
