Hailing from a Scottish farm in 1936, Jim Clark rose to become one of Formula One's most revered talents. From local rally events to national circuits, his raw skill propelled him through the ranks. By 1958, he caught the eye of top teams, winning numerous races in a Jaguar D-Type.His impressive second-place finish behind Lotus founder Colin Chapman at Brands Hatch in 1958 marked a turning point. The following year, he joined Lotus, debuting in Formula One and claiming his first Grand Prix victory at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps in 1962. Two World Championships followed for Lotus in 1963 and 1965, solidifying his dominance.Beyond F1, Clark conquered the prestigious Indy 500 and Le Mans, showcasing his versatility. He also dominated touring car races in the iconic Lotus Cortina, even claiming a British championship title.
