Overview

Spektrum Smart LiPos communicate their charge data to Spektrum Smart chargers through a built-in microchip. On your charger screen, tweak preferences like charge rates, then hit "Start" and let Smart technology do the rest. Smart LiPos use IC3/IC5 connectors that are backward-compatible with older EC3/EC5 ports — you won't unlock every Smart feature, but you'll still enjoy convenient charging and worry-free battery management.

Note

This product is classified as dangerous goods. Due to aviation safety laws, it can not be sent by air, including to New Zealand. If you add this to your cart, you will only see road delivery options, or to pick up from our store. LiPo Charging: Always use a LiPo compatible charger when charging your Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries. Be sure to select the correct chemistry/setting for the LiPo battery you are charging, as charging on the wrong setting can cause violent fires if left unattended. Please use extreme caution and never charge LiPo batteries unattended. We also recommend using a LiPo Safe/Protection Bag while charging your LiPo batteries.

Ditch the menus, embrace the plug-and-play! Spektrum Smart LiPos communicate their secrets to Spektrum Smart chargers, sending health data and sweet spot settings through their built-in microchip. Power up your game with Spektrum Smart LiPos - the future of effortless, intelligent battery performance.

Features

Smart Technology — Connect to a Spektrum Smart charger and the built-in smarts take over. Your battery's unique data is sent through the IC connector, optimising every charge for maximum performance and long battery life.
Data Driven — An intelligent microchip records vital details including brand, chemistry, health, and history — from cell count and C rating to temperature and past incidents such as over-charges — so you can make informed decisions on the fly.
Auto Discharge — Program your desired storage voltage with a Spektrum Smart Charger and the battery automatically discharges to that level when left idle (between 12 and 240 hours), preventing the damaging stress of sitting fully charged and extending battery life.
