The Nürburgring, a demanding German circuit renowned for its challenging layout, serves as a proving ground for sports car development and is widely recognised in motorsport. Subaru has a rich history at the Nürburgring 24-hour endurance race, competing since 2008 and achieving four class victories. The WRX STI NBR Challenge car was specifically developed for this gruelling event, based on Subaru's high-performance WRX STI sports sedan. This clear polycarbonate body shell authentically recreates the 2016 class-winning machine.

The body shell captures the aggressive styling of the WRX STI NBR Challenge, including the complex front bumper spoiler, bonnet with dual air vents flanking the central intake, sharp front and rear fenders, and the distinctive diffuser-shaped rear end. Separate resin parts for the door mirrors and integrated rear wing add further scale detail. The included decal sheet provides a comprehensive set of sponsor logos and markings for a realistic finish. This body shell is designed to fit standard 257mm wheelbase touring car chassis.
