Tamiya 1/24 Nissan Fairlady Z 300ZX Scaled Plastic Model Kit
The Nissan Fairlady Z had already sold in excess of a million units between its debut in 1969 and 1983. In September 1983, the third generation was released: while it retained the successful long nose, short deck design, it was highly advanced aerodynamically with minimal drag, and featured semi-integrated pop-up headlights. All grades employed a V6 turbo engine; the top 300ZX model used the 2,960cc VG30ET producing 230hp — the highest among Japanese sports cars of the time. It featured front MacPherson strut and rear semi-trailing suspension, plus 3-way adjustable shock absorbers and four brake discs, ventilated at the front and solid at the rear.
