The Subaru BRZ — Subaru's first rear-wheel drive sports car — welcomed a second model in July 2021 in Japan. While the 2-door coupe form is essentially carried over, the new Subaru BRZ features more powerful styling with aerodynamic efficiency. Hood, roof, and fenders are lightweight aluminium, and the car is powered by a 2.4-litre horizontally opposed four-cylinder boxer DOHC engine capable of 235hp.
