The M8 Light Armoured Car, nicknamed the "Greyhound" for its high top speed, was a vital 6x6 reconnaissance vehicle for U.S. forces during World War II. Its combination of speed, a 37mm cannon in an open-topped turret, and all-wheel drive made it an effective scout and screening vehicle, serving in every theatre from its introduction in 1943 to the end of the war.
This classic 1/35 scale kit from Tamiya is a detailed replica of the famous Greyhound. The model faithfully captures the vehicle's angular hull and features a richly detailed open-topped turret and interior. The kit offers a wealth of customisation, with optional parts for a turret-ring-mounted M2 heavy machine gun, large fenders, and external storage racks.
