The French masterpiece middle-class passenger car produced from 1934 to 1957, the Citroen 11CV, adopts a front wheel drive system and monocoque body. Light weight and independent suspension with a low centre of gravity gave it excellent running performance and versatility. During the Second World War, the French army as well as the German army after the occupation of France were equally equipped with it as a military car. It was used across many European fronts, as well as the Russian and North African fronts, and also served as a private car of Air Force pilots.
