Forget everything you know about micro crawlers, because the Traxxas TXC-4M RC Rock Crawler starts from a completely clean sheet. Instead of a traditional ladder frame, this 1/18 scale rig sits on a rigid moulded monocoque chassis that is lighter and stiffer, so it tracks straight and true even when the suspension is fully twisted up. The battery and ESC sit low on opposite sides of the chassis for a strong forward weight bias and serious ground clearance. A clipless tube-frame body with replaceable panels and a detailed driver figure keeps the scale looks sharp, and it comes in a choice of green, blue, pink, orange and tan. Licensed Method Race beadlock wheels wrapped in soft Stone Claw tyres claw their way up and over obstacles with aggressive stepped tread.

Underneath sits a punchy 3350Kv brushless outrunner motor and a fully waterproof 3S brushless ESC, running through a high-reduction driveline for crawling speeds so slow the rig looks like it is standing still. Choose between Sport, Trail and Crawl drive profiles, with Crawl mode adding a full hill-holding brake for steep descents. Sturdy portal axles with all-metal gears lift the rig higher at the wheels, while a superior 60 degree steering angle and a tough metal-geared 2265 servo pivot you through tight lines. Smooth oil-filled aluminium GTM Pro shocks and triangulated four-link suspension keep every tyre planted, and with a 3S LiPo battery and USB charger in the box, this ready-to-run package is set to hit the rocks straight away.

3S Brushless Power

An 11.1V brushless system running on 3S LiPo power gives this extreme crawler serious muscle. The extra voltage allows a high-reduction driveline, so you get pinpoint throttle control, huge torque and crawl speeds so slow the rig almost looks stationary as it creeps over the rocks.

Rigid Monocoque Chassis

The all-new monocoque chassis is lighter and much stiffer than a traditional ladder frame. Because it doesn't flex, the TXC-4M tracks straight and true even at full articulation, so it stays on your chosen line through the gnarliest sections.

Competition-Grade Steering

A huge 60-degree steering angle gives a tight turning circle for threading through narrow, technical lines. A laterally mounted 2265 metal-gear servo with 5.4 kg-cm of torque turns the wheels with authority, and high-clearance steering and drag links help the rig clear rocks without getting hung up.

Portal Axles

Portal axles lift the TXC-4M at the wheels for more ground clearance under the centre pumpkins. They also move gear reduction out to the wheels and away from the differentials, which cuts down torque twist. The result is a more stable crawler that is far less likely to twist itself off a climb.

Stone Claw Tyres

Big 33 mm x 71 mm Stone Claw beadlock tyres carry the TXC-4M up and over obstacles with ease. The aggressive stepped-block tread packs in plenty of biting edges, and the soft-compound rubber grabs the rock for outstanding grip on steep, slippery faces.

3S Battery and Charger Included

A compact 11.1V 3S LiPo battery and a fast USB charger come in the box. The battery supplies near-endless rock-climbing torque and high-rpm trail speed, while the iD-equipped charger balances it perfectly every time with no complicated settings to remember.
