Description
The Douglas C-47 Skytrain, affectionately known as the "Dakota", is an iconic workhorse of World War II and beyond. This military transport aircraft was renowned for its reliability and ruggedness. It played a pivotal role in airlifting supplies, paratrooper drops, and evacuations across all theatres of war. The versatility of the C-47 saw it continue in service with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and other air forces long after the war. Now, Academy has recreated this piece of aviation history in 1/144 scale, ready for you to build and display.
