Description
The Boeing KC-97 Stratofreighter, a military aerial refueling and transport aircraft, played a vital role in extending the reach of U.S. Air Force aircraft during the post-WWII era. With its unique double-deck configuration, it could carry cargo or serve as a tanker to refuel other planes in mid-air.
This 1/144 scale model kit by Academy allows you to recreate the KC-97L Stratofreighter in detail. Intermediate-level modelers can enjoy a rewarding build and choose from two historically accurate paint schemes, representing the aircraft's service with the Wisconsin and Utah Air National Guard units.
