Overview

The Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker, derived from the Boeing 367-80 jet airliner, has been the backbone of the United States Air Force's aerial refueling capabilities for over six decades. Its crucial role in extending the range and endurance of fighter jets and bombers has made it an indispensable asset in military operations worldwide.

This 1/144 scale model kit by Academy allows you to recreate the KC-135R Stratotanker in detailed miniature form. Intermediate-level modellers can enjoy a rewarding build and choose from two historically accurate paint schemes, representing different units and eras of this iconic aircraft.
