The Boeing E-3 Sentry, instantly recognisable by its distinctive rotating radar dome, serves as a vital airborne warning and control system (AWACS) aircraft for the U.S. Air Force and its allies. Based on the Boeing 707 airliner, the E-3 provides unparalleled battle-space awareness and management capabilities, coordinating air operations and providing crucial early warning surveillance. The E-3G is a modernised variant with advanced systems.

Now, Academy brings this iconic aircraft to the modelling world in 1/144 scale. This kit accurately captures the unique shape of the E-3G, featuring its large rotodome, detailed engines, and precisely engraved panel lines. The model offers the option to build the landing gear in either the deployed or retracted position and includes high-quality decals for three different operator options: USAF, JASDF (based in Japan), and NATO.
