Artesania Latina 1/85 1797 US Navy Constellation Frigate Scaled Wooden Model Ship Kit

The US Navy Constellation is a 1:85 scale wooden replica of the famous American frigate built in Baltimore in 1797. Among the most versatile ships in naval history, the Constellation seized numerous enemy vessels, prevented the annexation of the Hawaiian Islands by the English Navy in 1843, transported food to Ireland during the great potato famine of 1845–49, became the first American warship to visit China in 1842, and was designated a school vessel in 1871. Today it is a museum ship in Baltimore.

The modelling kit uses a false keel and frames construction system that mirrors the assembly of the real ship. It contains high-precision laser-cut board, wood, brass, cast iron and cotton sails ready to be placed, with a complete step-by-step guide in five languages with multiple images, accompanied by drawings of the finished model.
