The San Juan Nepomuceno is a 1:90 scale replica of the famous Spanish Armada warship, built in the shipyards of Guarnizo (Cantabria) in 1765 and armed with 74 cannons. It served until the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, where its commander Cosme Damián Churruca refused to surrender even while surrounded by six English ships — forging one of the most celebrated legends of Spanish naval history. Captured by the Royal Navy, the ship was towed to Gibraltar and put on display.
The modelling kit is built using a false keel and frames system that mirrors the construction of the real ship. It contains high-precision laser-cut board parts, fine woods, brass, cast iron and fabric, and is assembled with complete step-by-step instructions in four languages accompanied by finished-model drawings.
