The kit includes Standard AR45 straight axles that mirror the mechanical setup of full-size off-road vehicles. This design provides proven performance and a scale look that enthusiasts appreciate. Thanks to the LCXU transmission design, you also have the flexibility to switch from these standard axles to portals later if your crawling needs change, ensuring your rig can grow with your skills.

The included LCXU transmission can be externally locked in standard 4WD mode for traditional trail runs. For more technical challenges, it features an optional, servo-actuated dIG feature that locks the rear wheels. This allows for significantly sharper turns and better pivoting in tight spots, giving you a competitive edge when navigating difficult rocky terrain.

Heavy-duty 6mm (0.24") stainless steel links with all-metal pivot balls provide superior off-road durability. These high-strength components reduce bending and breaking under stress while minimising unwanted movements like axle steer and torque twist. By increasing the rigidity of the suspension, these links help deliver a more precise steering response during technical climbs.

The foundation of the build is a strong, one-piece steel C-channel chassis that reduces frame flexing. This rigidity increases the precision of your suspension movement, ensuring that every adjustment you make on the bench translates to performance on the trail. The realistic rail design is also easy to work on, making it the perfect starting point for custom scale projects.

A durable metal panhard mount is included as standard to resist bending or cracking under high stress. This is particularly important when using high-torque steering servos or heavy-duty tyres. The mount can be adjusted forward or backward, allowing you to maintain a perfect setup whether you are running the included straight axles or a portal conversion.

The LCXU transmission is built for long-term reliability with all-metal internal gears. This trail-tough drivetrain is supported by a full set of high-quality ball bearings to ensure a smooth, efficient ride with minimal friction. These robust internals are designed to handle high-power brushless systems, allowing you to push your builder's kit to its absolute limit.

The kit provides three different battery tray options to fit shorty, standard, or long battery packs. This allows you to choose between high-capacity packs for long-distance trail endurance or lighter, compact packs for competition where every gram matters. Each tray includes elastomer hold-downs to keep your power source secure through aggressive jumps and rolls.

A new battery mount design allows you to position your battery in front of the transmission. This forward-leaning weight distribution is crucial for technical crawling, as it keeps the front tyres planted during steep vertical climbs. By improving the overall balance of the 312mm (12.3") wheelbase chassis, this mount ensures greater stability on the rocks.

Fine-tune your handling with adjustable oil-filled shocks featuring threaded aluminium bodies. You can easily adjust the oil viscosity and spring preload to match your specific terrain, vehicle weight, and driving style. These coil-overs provide the smooth damping needed for maximum traction while protecting your rig from hard impacts during high-speed trail sections.
