Overview

The BlackZon Smyter DB is a 1/12 scale RC Desert Buggy built for all-terrain excitement. This ready-to-run vehicle features a 4WD shaft drivetrain, independent double-wishbone suspension, adjustable coilover shocks, and 4-gear differentials both front and rear, allowing it to clamber over all kinds of terrain indoors and out. A brushed electric 390 motor and Li-Ion 7.4V 1500mAh battery with T-Plug connector provide the power, with a USB charger included for convenience.

The Smyter DB comes in electric blue & black or bright acid green & black, each with matching beadlock-effect wheel rims. LED light pods illuminate the night. Splashproof electronics and a protective gear cover mean puddles and debris won't stand in your way. The included 2.4GHz transmitter features a speed switch so drivers can dial in a more manageable pace when needed.

Note

The LED light set includes a pre-installed roof light; front lights require installation (optional).

    I just bought this for my kid (7yo). It seems to be a great introduction to "quality RC". You can go to 'Toys World and get an RC car, but that would be a toy compared to this. The most valuable feature for us is the power control. At full power, it can do doughnuts and spray bits of my driveway in my face. But with a simple twist of a knob I can hand it to my kid assured that it will run at a speed that he can handle. Love it.

    Hi Bryce, The Smyter has a rated top speed of 27km/h. You can expect a run time of anywhere between 5 and 25 minutes. It really just depends on how heavy your trigger finger is! Hope this helps you get up to speed!
