The E-flite Eratix 3D SWS 1.6m is the larger, wood-construction evolution of the popular Eratix foamy, engineered to deliver the crisp, precise flight characteristics of a balsa and plywood airframe. This Almost-Ready-To-Fly (ARF) version provides the perfect platform for experienced pilots who prefer to select and install their own power system and electronics. It allows you to create a truly custom setup tailored to your personal flying style. The quality of the airframe is superb, featuring strong, stiff, yet lightweight balsa and plywood construction that is reinforced with carbon fibre for the demands of 3D flight.
This ARF model includes many high-quality features that simplify the final build. The airframe is factory-finished in genuine UltraCote film, and it includes optional-use Side Force Generators (SFGs) to further enhance 3D performance. Convenience is a key part of the design, with a tool-free, two-piece wing for easy transport, a large top hatch for battery access, and captured pin hinges for glue-free control surface installation. The package includes carbon fibre landing gear with optional wheel pants, providing a strong and stylish foundation. This Eratix 3D SWS ARF is a powerful, mostly pre-built airframe that serves as an excellent foundation for a custom, high-performance 3D and sport flying model.

This Skill Level 3 ARF is for experienced pilots who have the skills to assemble, set up, and fly similar class models. You will need to select, install, and properly tune your own power system, servos, and receiver, making this a rewarding project for the seasoned RC enthusiast.
