The Viper 64mm offers versatile gear options for different flying environments. You can install the included fixed landing gear, featuring shock-absorbing, trailing-link struts and a steerable nose wheel, without any tools. This allows for effortless taxiing, take-offs, and landings on smooth grass. Alternatively, leave the gear off for increased speed and vertical performance, opting for easy hand launches and landings on longer grass, aided by moulded-in finger grips and an automatic Hand Launch Assist Mode.

Experience greater control during critical flight phases with the Viper 64mm's functional flaps. Factory-installed, these flaps dramatically improve slow-flight performance, making it possible to get airborne and land in shorter distances and at slower speeds. This feature positions the Viper 64mm as a superb next step for pilots transitioning from basic EDF models.

This plane is equipped with exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. AS3X works seamlessly to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence, providing a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying a much larger aeroplane. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-levelling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch to make it easier to take off, fly, and land!
