Description
The Futaba 16IZ is a 16-channel 2.4 GHz transmitter using the FASSTest bidirectional communication system. It features a 4.3 inch full-colour backlit transflective HVGA touch screen, S.BUS2 system support, USB-C simulator control (Windows OS), voice telemetry readout, vibration alarms, and a multi-holder accessory mount. Model data is stored on an optional microSD card, which is also used for software updates. The included R7108SB receiver supports S.Bus2 Dual Antenna Diversity with bidirectional communication.

- FASSTest System: Bidirectional communication; data from the receiver can be checked on the transmitter. Supports up to 18 channels (16 linear + 2 switch) on 2.4 GHz.
- S.BUS2 System: Multiple servos, gyros, and telemetry sensors installed with a minimum of cables.
- USB Simulator Control: USB-C compatibility for simulator control when used with Windows OS Joystick function.
- Colour Touch Screen LCD: HVGA 4.3 inch full-colour backlit transflective LCD, readable indoors and outdoors.
- Multi Holder: Accessory mount near the antenna/charging port using M3 style screws.
- Voice Telemetry: Audible readout of telemetry data for key parameters while flying.

- High Capacity Lithium Polymer Battery (2000 mAh): 2S LiPo battery for extended flight time.
- Editing: Touch panel and two enter keys for flexible model editing.
- Functions: The internal processor the response time. Most of the mixing functions are operated by curves which give you very precise settings.
- Stick: Single ball bearing per axis with high-cycle potentiometer for finer, more precise operation.
- Vibration Function: Vibration motor generates low-voltage and other alarms; selectable by the owner.
- R7108SB Receiver: S.Bus2 Dual Antenna Diversity receiver with bidirectional communication.
