The Model 42 Desert Vehicle, nicknamed the "Sahariana," was a specialised reconnaissance vehicle developed by the Italian Regio Esercito during World War II. Built upon the chassis of the AB 41 armoured car, this distinctive vehicle featured large wheels and a low profile, making it ideally suited for navigating the challenging terrain of the North African desert.

This 1/35 scale model kit by Italeri allows you to recreate this historic vehicle in detail. Experienced modellers can choose between two armament options the Breda 20/65 light gun or the 47/32 anti-tank gun and appreciate the photo-etched fret for added realism.
