The LAV-A2 is an upgraded version of the U.S. Marine Corps' versatile and long-serving eight-wheeled Light Armoured Vehicle. Introduced in the late 2000s, the A2 variant features improved armour protection and advanced targeting systems, including a laser rangefinder and a thermal imager. These enhancements increase the survivability and combat effectiveness of this vital modern reconnaissance and personnel carrier platform.

This 1/35 scale kit from Trumpeter is a highly detailed replica of the USMC's modern LAV-A2. A standout feature of this model is the fully detailed interior, including the driver's station and the rear troop compartment, which can be viewed through hatches and doors that can be posed open.
