This 1/35 scale model assembly kit depicts the Ausf.G variant of the long-serving Pz.Kpfw.IV. Ausf.G tanks were equipped with long-barrelled KwK 40 L/43 guns after fighting with Soviet armour demonstrated the obsolescence of the Wehrmacht's short-barrelled weapons. Produced between March 1942 and June 1943, they also featured a new mantlet and cradle, and further upgrades during production included extra armour. They would fight on all fronts in the ultimately unsuccessful German war effort.

The model captures early production Ausf.G details such as a rounded muzzle brake, and features varied accessories including sand bags, jerry cans, and spare tracks to recreate a modified version seen at the African Front. Assembly type tracks feature one-piece straight sections and a jig to help realistically depict upper run sag. Comes with a commander figure for installation in the cupola, plus gunner, loader, infantry, and a torso driver figure in Africa Corps uniform.
