Team Associated has partnered with Hoonigan to bring you their world-famous Hoonicorn in radio-controlled form. Built on the new Apex2 chassis, the Team Associated Hoonigan Hoonicorn is a tyre-slaying beast.

The engineers at Team Associated spent countless hours capturing many of the details synonymous with the 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonigan Hoonicorn — including officially licensed American Racing VF503 wheels, rear diffuser, moulded intake and turbos, and scale brake rotors.

The 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR V2 (HvW2 spec) builds upon the original Hoonicorn. Taking the car that starred in Gymkhana SEVEN, the team modified the 410 cubic inch Roush Yates Ford V8 to feature a custom twin turbo setup from Garrett feeding boost through a custom Sitzer Dynamics intake manifold — resulting in 1,400 horsepower fed through the Sadev all-wheel-drive system with paddle shifters, on American Racing VF503 wheels with Toyo Proxes R888R tyres.

The Apex2 chassis is equipped with front and rear independent suspension with threaded oil-filled shocks and active rear toe for on-road handling.

Independent Suspension Arms

The Apex2's independent suspension arms on both the front and rear helps you tame even the most technical of tracks, absorbing bumps like a dream while keeping your ride buttery smooth. Taking corners quickly in pure poetry, leaving you in total control!

Oil Filled Shock Absorbers

Plastic body shock absorbers help smooth out the bumps, helping you keep all 4 wheels firmly planted on the ground and giving you the best lap times possible.

Reedy Electronics

The Apex2 comes equipped with the brilliant Reedy SC500X programmable brushed ESC (program card sold separately) and Reedy Sport 550 15-turn 3-slot brushed motor, providing speed and precision while maintaining the reliability expected from a Team Associated vehicle.

Active Rear Toe In

Active rear toe-in adapts as you corner, digging your rear wheels deeper into the tarmac for more grip and confidence. Allowing you to take the tightest hairpin turns with a tighter turning radius, cutting off even more time off your lap.

Adjustable Shock Mounts

Multiple shock tower mounting points provide precise adjustments to camber, caster, and roll centre. This allows for fine-tuning of suspension geometry for optimal performance on various track conditions.
