Engineers at Area 51 focused on lowering the centre of gravity, increasing durability, and integrating the proven adjustability of its buggy counterpart. A standout feature is the completely new 3-gear laydown transmission, meticulously designed to minimise drag and efficiently transfer power to the large short course tyres. This split-case gearbox design ensures a secure gear mesh and incorporates a large 10mm aluminium idler shaft for added stability. The result is a highly responsive drivetrain that delivers instant power, making it a formidable contender straight out of the box for any off-road track.

The RC10SC7’s performance is further enhanced by its refined suspension geometry, featuring new gull wing long arm suspension for improved grip and predictability across all conditions. This is complemented by low-CG 13mm big-bore shocks with 25mm front and 31mm rear bodies. Significant durability upgrades include a steel front inner hinge pin brace and updated B7 V2 caster blocks. For fine-tuning, the kit includes zero KPI steering blocks and accommodates the same wide mount anti-roll bars as the RC10B7 buggy. By sharing key components with the RC10B7 and RC10B7D, drivers can easily maintain a fleet for multiple racing classes.
