The K5 Blazer High Trail Edition's factory lift kit and oversized tyres deliver over an inch of extra ground clearance for conquering challenging trails. Upgraded 110 mm GTS shocks provide silky-smooth damping and increased wheel articulation, enhancing off-road performance. Extended steel links and a revised servo mount ensure the TRX-4's renowned suspension geometry remains intact for optimal handling.

Conventional crawlers equipped with axle spools sacrifice turning radius for traction. Traxxas gives you the freedom and versatility to lock and unlock both the front and rear differentials to suit your driving needs, all controlled remotely from your transmitter. Leave the differentials unlocked for relaxed driving on the trail with smooth, tight turning and better handling at high speeds. When the trail gets technical, lock the front and rear differentials, or just the front differential, for superior pull and grip over extreme terrain.

The K5 Blazer sits on oversized Canyon Trail tyres that provide additional ground clearance and enhanced grip. The S1 Compound, aggressive lug pattern, and dual density foam inserts provide unparalleled grip as well and incredible scale detail.

The TRX-4's main battery tray accommodates the full-length Traxxas 5000mAh 3-cell LiPo or 7600mAh 2-cell LiPo for extended run times. Securely mount full-size LiPo batteries for extended runtimes, or opt for smaller 1/16 scale Traxxas batteries for reduced weight and improved agility. The innovative hinged battery strap eliminates the need for pins, ensuring quick and secure battery changes in the field. The strap even flips to adjust for batteries of different heights.

On conventional rigs with the limited gear reduction in the differentials, motor torque is applied to the frame to the point of twisting you right off the rocks. The TRX-4's radical portal axle design reduces the gear ratio at the wheels, virtually eliminating torque twist through the chassis. Total axle gear reduction is over twice non-portal designs, so Titan motor torque delivers smooth forward motion, not frame twist.

Extended Oil-filled coil-over GTS shocks were created exclusively for the high trail TRX-4 chassis to smooth out even the roughest trails. These silver-anodised aluminium shocks deliver silky-smooth damping and feature threaded bodies for easy ride height adjustment. The convincing scale realism looks great, and they perform even better with an O-ring cap seal and dual X-ring shaft seals.
