The Peter Strasser was the planned second aircraft carrier of Germany's Graf Zeppelin-class. Laid down in 1938, her construction was plagued by delays and ultimately cancelled in 1940 as naval priorities shifted to U-boat production. Like her sister ship, the Peter Strasser was never completed, leaving her as one of naval history's most fascinating unbuilt warships.
This massive 1/350 scale kit from Trumpeter brings the legendary "what if" carrier to life. This is an incredibly detailed project with over 840 parts, featuring five extensive photo-etched frets, detailed flight and hangar decks, and a complete air wing of Ar-195, Bf-109T, Ju-87C, and Fi-167 aircraft, allowing you to build the carrier as she might have appeared in service.
