Description

Introduced by GM in 1967, the full-size Chevrolet C10 pickup holds its own on the trails even today. As one of the best-selling Axial micro rock crawlers, this 1/24 scale SCX24 version not only recreates the original's classic styling but also delivers exceptional value, now better than ever. This updated version includes plush oil-filled shocks for a suspension that soaks up bumps and provides a stable ride over rough ground. Reliable Spektrum electronics are now included, and there are fresh body colours to choose from. Completely assembled and fully equipped, the SCX24 Chevy C10 is a great choice for hobby beginners and experienced Axial fans.

The SCX24 Chevy C10 makes any location the scene for rock crawling fun. Its versatile size opens up almost any setting to spur-of-the-moment RC crawling expeditions, indoors or out. The SCX24 platform features full-time 4WD and a 3-link front/4-link rear suspension to muscle over big challenges. Worm gears on the axles increase ground clearance and provide excellent drag braking. Realistic steel C-channel frame rails stand up to hard knocks. The detailed scale body rides on licensed Method wheels and BF Goodrich tyres, tackling different surfaces with ease.

Ready to Run

Includes everything you need to start crawling right away — battery, charger, transmitter, and even AA batteries for the transmitter.

Conquer the Night

Two bright LED headlights illuminate the trail for night-time crawling adventures.

Compact & Portable

With its compact 1/24 scale size, the SCX24 C10 is easy to take with you anywhere, transforming any space into an off-road playground.

Iconic '67 C10 Body: Scale Realism & Easy Access

Capture the rugged spirit of the classic 1967 Chevrolet C10 with this meticulously detailed SCX24 body. Choose from two factory-finished colour options and enjoy quick battery access with the convenient tilt-back design – just remove two clips and you're ready to roll!

Steel C-Channel Frame Rails for Unmatched Strength

Inspired by the proven 1/10th scale SCX10™, the SCX24™ boasts rugged steel C-channel frame rails with bracing. This design ensures exceptional rigidity and strength, keeping your rig aligned and handling tough terrain with ease.

4-Link Rear Suspension: Precision & Control

The SCX24™'s 4-link rear suspension geometry is engineered for optimal performance, minimising axle steer and torque twist. This translates to enhanced stability and predictability, allowing you to navigate challenging terrain with confidence.

Coilover Shock Absorbers

The SCX24™'s coilover shock absorbers, complete with simulated reservoirs and tough plastic suspension links, deliver the crawling prowess you expect from Axial®, even in a compact package. Experience smooth articulation and impressive performance on any terrain.

Solid Axles & Articulated Suspension

The SCX24™'s robust two-piece, moulded plastic solid axles deliver exceptional durability and off-road capability. Paired with a three-link front and four-link rear suspension setup, this configuration ensures maximum articulation and impressive handling on even the most challenging terrain.

Steel Axles for Trail Toughness

This Crawler sports steel front and rear axles, front stub axles, and steel driveshafts that provide a backbone of strength and durability, letting you tackle rough trails and challenging climbs without worry.

Splined Driveshafts for Maximum Flex

The splined and sleeved driveshafts ensure smooth power delivery even during extreme suspension articulation. Tackle any obstacle with confidence, knowing your rig can handle the flex.

Worm Gears

This crawler utilises worm gears in its front and rear differentials, efficiently transferring power to the axles while providing increased ground clearance for tackling obstacles with ease.

Full Ball Bearings

The Axial 1/24 series of vehicles may be small, but they are packed with big features. You won't find any bushings slowing this rig down. Instead, the entire drivetrain spins freely on sealed ball bearings, ensuring smooth, efficient operation and long-lasting performance.

SLT2 Radio System: Ready-to-Run Convenience

The Spektrum SLT2 2-channel radio system delivers advanced control and convenience right out of the box. Fine-tune your driving experience with throttle/steering travel adjust and throttle limiting. Plus, the ready-to-run package includes AA transmitter batteries, so you can hit the trails without delay.

Dynamite 88T Motor: Torque for Tough Climbs

The Dynamite 88T brushed electric motor delivers ample torque to power through steep inclines. It's securely mounted on a sturdy steel motor mount, minimising flex and protecting your gears for worry-free off-roading.

I purchased this for my 11 year old. It appears to be well made and is a very capable little truck. The only thing I don't like is how fiddly/delicate the battery connector is. The supplied USB charger (connected to my 65w USB power adaptor) takes at least an hour to charge the 350mah battery. It's well made but it's tiny (1:24 scale) I wouldn't recommend it as a first car for a young child as it won't be as tough as a larger scale car.
