This SCX24 features an officially licensed 2024 Toyota 4Runner body, moulded from durable ABS hard plastic for a high level of scale realism. The exceptional detail captures the look of the full-size vehicle, creating an authentic replica that even the most dedicated Toyota fans will appreciate.

The 4Runner's oil-filled shocks allow the suspension to move smoothly and realistically over rough ground. This improves the truck's ability to keep its tyres planted for better traction on the trail. You can also adjust the preload to fine-tune the handling for different obstacles.

Just like a full-size truck, the SCX24 4Runner is built on a rugged and sturdy steel C-channel ladder frame. This proven design provides a strong and rigid platform for the suspension and electronics, keeping everything aligned and intact when tackling tough trails and challenging obstacles.

The front and rear differentials use a durable metal worm gear setup. This design provides higher ground clearance for the axles, helping you get over obstacles more easily. It also creates a strong, natural drag brake, which helps hold the truck in place on steep inclines.

For true crawler performance, the 4Runner features solid front and rear axles in two-piece, moulded composite housings. To provide optimal handling and articulation, the front suspension uses a 3-link setup, while the rear suspension features a 4-link design, just like many full-size off-road vehicles.

The geometry of the 4-link rear suspension has been carefully designed to improve performance. This setup helps to reduce axle steer and torque twist under power. The result is a more stable and predictable driving experience, allowing you to tackle difficult climbs and side-hills with more control.

The 4Runner's drivetrain is built tough with steel front and rear axles, front stub axles, and dogbones. These strong metal components provide the durability needed to handle the torque from the motor and keep you moving during tough climbs and over rough, challenging trails.

To ensure power is consistently delivered to the wheels, the front and rear driveshafts are a splined and sleeved design. This allows them to extend and compress, enabling maximum suspension travel and articulation while reliably keeping the power flowing to both axles, even at extreme angles.

Take complete control of the action. The included SLT2 radio features a throttle-limiting switch that lets you choose between 50% or 75% power, making it perfect for safely learning the truck's capabilities. It provides reliable control, and four AA batteries are included to get you started.

The included Dynamite 88T, 180-size brushed motor provides the right amount of torque for tackling steep climbs and technical obstacles. It is mounted to a steel motor plate to keep flex to a minimum, which helps protect the gears and ensures efficient power delivery to the drivetrain.

The SCX24 4Runner is built with quality components throughout. Instead of plastic or metal bushings, the entire drivetrain spins freely on a full set of sealed ball bearings. This reduces friction and improves efficiency, leading to longer run times and a smoother, more durable vehicle.
