The Copperhead 10 is a brushless ESC for 1:10 scale vehicles, positioned between the Sidewinder 4 and the Mamba X in Castle's lineup. It includes CRYO-DRIVE™ technology, sensored motor support, and Data Logging Lite. Packaged with a 1406-4600Kv 4-pole 12-slot sensored motor, this combo enables SMARTSENSE™ technology for cog-free starts and smooth low-speed drivability. The ESC can be programmed via manual transmitter programming, the Castle Link USB adapter and Windows software, or wirelessly with the B-LINK™ Bluetooth Adapter and Castle Link app (Android/iOS).

Warranty: Your Castle ESC is warranted for one (1) year from date of purchase against manufacturing and component defects. This warranty does not cover damages caused by abuse, including incorrect wiring, over-voltage, overloading, improper gearing, improper motor selection, incorrect controller settings, insufficient batteries, or inadequate connectors. Drag and speed run setups are not covered under warranty.

Water/Fan: Although the Copperhead 10 is waterproof, it is not intended for operation while completely submerged in liquid. Always rinse the ESC and motor with clean water after exposure to corrosives or dirt. While the motor and controller may be waterproof, we suggest users confirm that the rest of their vehicle, including the batteries, servos, radio and chassis are also waterproof before exposing them to liquids of any kind. The cooling fan must be removed prior to driving in wet conditions — it is not waterproof. The motor sensor board is coated with silicone conformal coating; sensor connections are not water resistant. Apply dielectric grease to sensor wire connections after installation. Routine maintenance is recommended after running in wet conditions.

Temperature: Always monitor ESC and motor temperatures during the first run after modifying your system.
