The E-flite Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m takes one of the most popular RC STOL planes of all time and makes it tougher, smarter and easier to live with. A specially tuned brushless outrunner and three blade propeller give you plenty of thrust on a 3S LiPo, or unlimited vertical climbs on 4S with no modifications. The roomy top hatch takes packs from 2200mAh to 5000mAh, so you can choose between fast sport flying and long, relaxed flights. Drooped wingtips and functional slotted flaps work with the included leading edge slats to let this RC bush plane spring into the air and float down to land in just a few feet. The included float set with dual water rudders turns your local lake into a runway.

Thick grass, gravel paths and dirt trails are just as easy. Stronger reinforced mounts and shock absorbing landing gear with heavier duty springs soak up rough ground and firm landings, while oversized tundra style wheels keep the prop well clear. The Spektrum Avian 70A Smart Lite ESC and AR637TA receiver work together to send battery voltage, current and motor RPM to compatible transmitters, and they also unlock optional thrust reversing for better control on the ground. AS3X smooths out the wind for a locked in feel, and optional SAFE Select adds pitch and bank limits with self levelling at the flip of a switch. A stiffened wing and six metal geared servos sharpen roll response, and the composite reinforced EPO airframe stays light without losing toughness. LED landing, navigation and strobe lights and a fresh, modern trim scheme finish the look. No glue is needed and the wing connectors are combined, so it's ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge a battery.
