The Mini Ultra Stick was an instant best-seller when it was released in 2005, offering the advantages of a lightweight, stiff, and strong wood construction that delivered a flight experience unlike moulded foam models. The E-flite Ultra Stick 1.1m is an updated, upgraded, and more refined version of this icon. It is slightly larger to better accommodate popular 3S or 4S 2200–3200mAh batteries and to enhance its already excellent flight performance. The built-up balsa and lite-ply airframe offers a unique feel in the air, with excellent low-speed characteristics for easy landings, incredible high-speed handling, and impressive aerobatic capabilities that a wide range of pilots will appreciate and enjoy.
This Bind-N-Fly Basic version comes packed with modern technology to complement its classic construction. It's equipped with four factory-installed, durable metal-geared servos, a 3S and 4S compatible Spektrum motor, and an exclusive 45-amp Avian Smart Lite ESC. This ESC provides a variety of real-time power system telemetry data, including motor RPM, current, and battery voltage, to compatible Spektrum transmitters. It is also equipped with an AR631 receiver, providing the benefits of AS3X and optional-use SAFE Select technologies to make it one of the easiest-to-fly Stick models ever. The airframe is even ready to accept two additional wing servos for advanced setups like "crow" and flaps, making this the perfect first "wood" model and an everyday sport flyer for almost any pilot.

The factory-installed brushless out-runner motor is 3S and 4S compatible, offering a wide range of "mild to wild" performance. Go from sport flying and basic aerobatics with 3S batteries, to hovering and unlimited vertical performance with 4S batteries. The convenient top-mounted hatch makes battery access easy for popular 2200–3200mAh packs.
