The Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger I is undoubtedly one of the most famous tanks of the Second World War. It was developed to provide the Wehrmacht's armoured divisions with a heavily armed and armoured vehicle that could dominate the battlefield. Its primary armament was the powerful long-barrelled 88mm KwK 36 gun, which, protected by up to 120mm of armour, could penetrate any contemporary enemy vehicle at long range. Deployed on all fronts, the Tiger was always greatly feared by Allied forces when operated by skilled crews.

This 1/56 scale kit is designed to be both highly detailed and easy to assemble. Intended for both modellers and wargamers, it features a low part count and a pre-moulded Zimmerit coating, which was applied to German tanks to prevent magnetic mines from adhering to the hull. The kit provides an excellent representation of this legendary heavy tank.
