Tamiya 1/35 German Panzer Kampfwagen II Ausf. F/G Tank Scaled Plastic Model Kit

The Panzer II light tank was a workhorse of the German army in the early years of World War II, playing a key role in the Blitzkrieg campaigns. The Ausf.F variant continued this vital service with the famous Deutsches Afrikakorps (DAK) in the harsh desert environment of North Africa, where its speed and reliability were highly valued for reconnaissance and infantry support missions.

This classic 1/35 scale kit from Tamiya is an enjoyable and straightforward build of the Panzer II, specifically themed for the North African campaign. The model accurately captures the compact form of the 20mm cannon-armed light tank. The true highlight of this set is the inclusion of five detailed figures: one officer in a tropical uniform and four crewmen in iconic Afrika Korps garb, perfect for creating an instant and lively desert diorama right out of the box.
