Description

The M113 Armoured Cavalry Assault Vehicle (ACAV) was an up-gunned and up-armoured variant of the ubiquitous M113 Armoured Personnel Carrier, developed specifically for the demands of the Vietnam War. Nicknamed the "Battle Wagon," the ACAV modifications added a protective gun shield for the commander's .50 calibre M2 machine gun and two additional M60 machine guns with shields at the rear hatches, transforming the humble troop transport into a potent fighting vehicle.

This classic 1/35 scale kit from Tamiya is a detailed replica of the famous M113 ACAV. The model features a precisely reproduced interior, including the passenger seats in the troop compartment and the engine bay. It includes the full ACAV armament and armour package, and comes complete with three U.S. soldier figures in immersive, realistic action poses.
