Dornier Do335A Pfeil: With front and rear engines and propellers, a cruciform tail, and ejector seats, the Do335 was a revolutionary design. Work began in 1942, culminating in the maiden flight of the Do335V-1 in October 1943. Production began in earnest with the A-1 in September 1944. Both the A-1 and its A-0 prototype predecessor were fitted with a 30mm cannon and two 20mm machine guns in the nose. The Do335 also appeared as a single-seat fighter-bomber variant in the later war years, though it never saw live combat, with a top airspeed of 760km/h.

Kubelwagen Type 82: The versatile Kubelwagen was employed by German WWII forces on all fronts in roles including transportation, communications, and reconnaissance. Based on a platform originally designed as a civilian 'people's car', its lightweight, simple design was underpinned by an air-cooled engine and a forgiving four-wheel independent suspension.
