Description

The USS Missouri (BB-63) was a member of the Iowa class, the largest and final battleships of the U.S. Navy. With a long and storied career spanning from her commissioning in 1944 through to the Gulf War, "Mighty Mo" is most famous as the site of the official Japanese surrender on September 2, 1945. This single event secured her an indelible place in world history.

This 1/700 scale Tamiya kit is a detailed replica of the iconic battleship as she appeared during WWII and is part of the classic Waterline Series. The model accurately captures the vessel's long, narrow hull and features rotatable main gun turrets, finely detailed anti-aircraft weaponry, and engraved deck details. The kit includes two types of floatplanes and a comprehensive colour guide for her complex Measure 32/22D camouflage scheme.
