The Tamiya Boomerang is a triumphant return of a true RC legend. This re-release of the classic 1986 buggy captures the spirit of the original while incorporating modern technology and performance enhancements for today's enthusiasts. The Boomerang features the iconic wedge-shaped body, large-sized rear wing, and a newly designed polycarbonate chassis cover for improved durability and maintenance.
The Boomerang inherits the chassis and shaft-driven 4WD powertrain of the famous Hotshot, providing a solid foundation for off-road adventures. The 3-piece bathtub chassis, consisting of a centre frame with front and rear gearboxes, ensures easy maintenance and accessibility. The suspension system features a mono-shock oil shock and a stabiliser in the front, and CVA long oil shocks in the rear, delivering a smooth and controlled ride. The polycarbonate chassis cover protects the internals from dust and debris, enhancing the buggy's longevity.
This re-release also offers exciting upgrade possibilities. You can enhance the Boomerang's performance with a variety of option parts, such as universal drive shafts and aluminium shock sets, allowing you to customise and fine-tune your buggy to your preferences.
