Important: When you're choosing your remote controller for your Tamiya semi truck, you need to figure if you want to use a MFU (Multi Function Unit). Your choice is between an analog or digital trimmed 4ch radio.If you plan on using your Tamiya semi without an MFU, you can use either analog or digital.If you plan on using your Tamiya semi with an MFU, you can only use an analog remote controller like the Tamiya Attack 4YWD.
This body shell can be painted using The Tamiya TS series of lacquer paints. Polycarbonate paints such as the Tamiya PS series will not adhere and/or cause damage to the body shell's surface. To view our range of compatible paints, please CLICK HERE.

3 Speed Gearbox
The included 3-speed gearbox allows you to shift on the fly:

- Medium (forwards and backwards)
- High (forwards and backwards)

The must-have multi function unit gives your Tamiya 1/14 semi truck some attitude by lighting it up with LED lights (which work with the operation of the vehicle — for example, when the truck is turning left the left indicator flashes), adding realistic vibrations (idle and starting vibrations etc.), and of course, sounds:

- Vibrations synchronised with the motor output

Choosing your remote controller: You need to decide whether you want to use a MFU (Multi Function Unit). Your choice is between an analog or digital trimmed 4-channel radio.
- If you plan on using your Tamiya semi without an MFU, you can use either analog or digital.
- If you plan on using your Tamiya semi with an MFU, you can only use an analog remote controller (e.g. the Tamiya Attack 4YWD).
How to tell if your remote has analog or digital trim:
Analog trims slide from one end to the other.
Digital trims are switches that click in either direction (no sliding).
