The kit features the rear-wheel-drive M-06 chassis, mirroring the real Type 2 T1's rear-mounted engine and drivetrain configuration. This setup, combined with a longitudinally-mounted battery pack, provides optimal balance and a low centre of gravity for a fun and engaging driving experience. The 4-wheel double wishbone suspension and 3-piece steering linkage ensure responsive handling, while details like separate turn signals, round side mirrors, and dish wheels with plated components enhance the realism. For added authenticity, install separately sold LEDs in the front and rear lights. Rear Motor Placement

Lengthwise Mounted Battery Tray

The battery sits lengthwise in the centre of the chassis. This promotes excellent balance, weight distribution, and a low centre of gravity, giving the car a planted feel when throwing it around corners.

Double Wishbone Suspension

All four wheels feature independent double-wishbone suspension with oil-filled shocks. This system soaks up bumps for smooth handling on various surfaces.
