Your choice is between an analog or digital trimmed 4ch radio.If you plan on using your Tamiya semi without an MFU, you can use either analog or digital.If you plan on using your Tamiya semi with an MFU, you can only use an analog remote controller like the Tamiya Attack 4YWD.

Tamiya MFC-03 Multi Function Control Unit

This truck is compatible with the Tamiya MFC-03 Multi Function Control Unit Kit.

The included 3-speed gearbox allows you to shift on the fly — low, medium, and high gear, all forwards and backwards. An optional Multi Function Unit (sold separately) adds LED lights that work with vehicle operation (e.g. indicators flash when turning), realistic vibrations synchronised with the motor, and 24 different sounds across 9 different light types.

Note

When choosing a remote controller for your Tamiya semi truck, you need to decide whether you want to use a Multi Function Unit (MFU). If you plan to use your Tamiya semi without an MFU, you can use either an analog or digital trimmed 4-channel radio. If you plan to use your Tamiya semi with an MFU, you can only use an analog remote controller (e.g. the Tamiya Attack 4YWD). Analog trims slide; digital trims click in either direction.
