The Team Associated RC12L is one of the most legendary 1/12-scale electric on-road pan cars ever produced. Released as an evolution of the RC12E, the RC12L introduced a lighter, stiffer chassis and refined suspension geometry that gave racers unprecedented corner speed and precision. Its smooth, predictable handling quickly became the new benchmark in competitive 1:12-scale racing. This kit is a faithful reproduction of the "Graphite Edition" pro model, the very car that dominated the racing scene, capturing the 1986 IFMAR World title with Tony Neisinger, the 1988 title with a young Masami Hirosaka, and the 1990 title with Chris Doseck.

This kit is designed for the serious 1/12 scale road racer and collector. It features the full-race carbon fibre graphite chassis and rear pod for optimum strength and stiffness. The innovative ball-joint supported T-bar, originally designed by Gil Losi Jr., provides smooth, controlled flex and precise tweak adjustment. Up front, it uses the classic coil-spring sliding pillar suspension. This kit includes the CNC machined aircraft alloy bulkhead, which acts as a heat sink, as well as a full set of precision ball bearings, superlight racing wheels, and foam tyres. New Front Suspension Geometry

All-new front suspension geometry designed to promote even tyre wear, which is important for consistent handling throughout a race. The coil-spring sliding pillar suspension is built for precision, using strong tapped drill blank kingpins for a smooth and durable front end that provides predictable steering.

Adjustable Axle Height and Alloy Bulkhead

The rear pod offers plenty of tuning with five different axle height positions, allowing you to adapt the car for track conditions and different tyre diameters. It includes the proven Varilok differential. The rear bulkhead is CNC-machined from aircraft alloy, which won't flex under load and also acts as a heat sink for the motor.

Balanced Motor and Tunable T-Bar Suspension

The motor is positioned to centre the mass between the rear wheels for balanced handling. The rear suspension features a ball-joint supported T-bar for smooth, controlled flex. Fine-tuning is simple with cap bolt tweak adjusters for precise load settings, a ride height adjuster, and a 360-degree adjustable shock dampener.
