The X-Monster gives you a foundation for extreme performance, engineered with the legendary toughness Traxxas is known for. The modular composite chassis provides a rigid backbone, while the heavy-duty suspension arms are designed to absorb massive impacts and provide just the right amount of flex, giving you the confidence to push the limits.
Coming factory fitted with the powerful Velineon 1200XL brushless motor and a VXL-8s waterproof ESC (Electronic Speed Controller), this RC Monster Truck is primed for brutal 8S power. The driveline is built tough to handle the immense torque, delivering relentless drive through the massive 218mm belted Chevron style tyres. These tyres, made from a super-soft rubber compound, give you maximum grip on any surface. The chassis also features a high-torque, metal-gear steering servo and machined aluminium threaded body shocks, providing predictable and precise control with tuneable damping to let you set the X-Monster up how you want!
The X-Maxx set the standard for monster trucks, and the new X-Monster takes it even further. This chassis and driveline are built with all the latest and greatest X-Truck upgrades, making it the strongest X-Maxx ever. It's a legacy of toughness, designed to handle extreme driving and come out on top.
The X-Monster has new chevron-pattern monster truck tyres that give it a livelier feel and better grip. These huge 218.4 mm (8.6”) tyres are made from a super-soft compound for amazing traction and have internal belting to stop them from ballooning at speed. The replica white monster truck wheels with military-style hubs give it an authentic look.
You can make the X-Monster truly your own by choosing from a variety of sold seperately bodies, including Traxxas' iconic replica Ford® F-150®, Chevrolet® C/K, or BIGFOOT® No. 8 body shells. Each body has a full-length reinforced cage for maximum rigidity. If you already have an X-Maxx body, the chassis accepts existing clipless bodies.
The X-Monster has a heavy-duty drivetrain built for heavy duty action. It uses the beefed-up rear differential output yokes with hardened steel, the strongest ever fitted to an X-Maxx. This ensures the truck can handle the most brutal power and torque with ease.
The X-Monster rolls on the biggest tyres ever put on an X-Truck, so a powerful steering servo was a must. With 32.4 kg-cm (450 oz-in) of torque, the 2085XL metal-gear servo has more than enough power for extreme driving on any surface. It gives you total control, without fail.
The X-Maxx MT Chassis’ heavy-duty suspension arms are designed to flex just enough to avoid breaking, even in cold weather. Double-shear connections at all mounting points give them incredible strength. The captured lower hinge pins at the outer joints now have locknuts to hold them securely in place for worry-free fun.
Bright chrome bumpers give the X-Monster a legit scale monster truck look while providing tough impact protection. An energy-absorbing cushion behind the front bumper helps to soften frontal blows, making the X-Monster even more durable for all your adventures.
