The Traxxas 1/16 Summit VXL is scaled down from its big brother the Traxxas 1/10 Summit. Capable speeds of 45 mph (72 km/h) are possible, and it goes 25 mph (40 km/h) straight out of the box with no modification. The chassis is designed to fit 2 batteries for unbeatable torque and speed — the 1/16 Summit can even perform a standing back flip. Traxxas' patented Training Mode is a fantastic way to learn how to drive an RC car; once set, the power output of the car gets reduced to 50%.

Traxxas have packed a mighty 380 sized brushless Velineon motor into this little beast to unleash some tyre shredding power.

Hobbies Direct recommends using Traxxas's patented Training Mode, which limits the power output of the model to 50%, making practising much easier and safer.
