Unfortunately the YR light kit has a manufacturing defect, the internal capacitor (or voltage reg) is compressed inside the housing causing a short circuit across the unit. This destroyed the first unit sent, and the second had the same fault which I was able to rectify. The kit is simple to use and when fixed looks great but the maker has a problem with QC. Excellent support from the Hobbies Direct team, replacing the damaged unit within a few days for me, really appreciate it guys. Thank you.
